Cuvettes and reference materials

Starna Scientific Ltd. in England has been supplying the people working in science and industry with glass and quartz cuvettes and spectroscopic reference materials since 1964.

According to the cooperation agreement between Starna and JASCO. the cuvette boxes (depending on stock availability) bear the words JASCO or Starna.

The cuvettes are manufactured in the United Kingdom.

The material quality of the cuvettes determines the wavelength range in which they are recommended for qualitative and quantitative measurements.

Cuvette cleaning

The latest pharmacopoeic instructions require enhanced purity control of the cuvettes used for spectroscopic measurements. The Starna CellClean solution means great help for cleaning the cuvettes contaminated with hard-to-remove samples (e.g. biological samples, oils, waxes, etc.). CellClean is an acqueous based cleaner with a unique combination of purifying ingredients, which dissolves and decomposes the contaminants preparing the cuvettes for new measurements.
