USP released a new generation of Prednisone tablets for the qualification of dissolution instruments. The new Dissolution Performance Verification Standard DPVS – Prednisone tablets are more sensitive to operational and mechanical variables of instrument setup and less sensitive to media degassing. With the new tablets the Guideline on Procedures for Mechanical Calibration and Performance Verification Test Apparatus 1 and Apparatus 2, containing the description of the qualification and verification procedures of the dissolution systems was updated as well.
