Chiral detector

OR-4090

The OR-4090 chirality detector developed for measuring the optically active materials, can be used for the detection of sugars, amino acids, terpenes and other molecules containing chiral centers. The research of optically active substances and the distinguishing of optical isomers has become unavoidably necessary because of their different biological activity. The OR-4090 polarimetric detector measures the rotation of optically active materials with the help of its Xe-Hg lamp emitting light in the visible wavelength range and with its Faraday cell optical system. The detector is equipped with a flow-through cell recognition system. On its built-in control unit the operation parameters can be set with the buttons, thus it can be connected to other chromatographic systems, as well. In the case of JASCO ChromNAV2 software control all the parameters can be set from the computer.
